Joining the Credit Union is easy and quick. Come to our office at 61/63 Austin Street, Ipswich and we'll go through the application process with you.

Or simply download, print and fill in an application form and bring it to our office or your nearest local collection point, along with two forms of ID (one proof of identity, such as a passport, and one proof of address, such as a recent utility bill).

Alternatively, you can post the application form to us. You would then have to supply us with the ID when you make your first deposit at a collection point. Alternatively you can simply ring us at the office and we’ll post an Application Form out to you.

Who can join ISCU?

Anyone who lives and/or works within Suffolk can join. You pay a one-off joining fee of £4 and an initial £1 savings deposit (£5.00 in total). Anyone over 18 can join as a full member, and we have junior accounts for under-18s. Junior accounts are opened at no charge. Please click here to check our membership requirements.
